What do you do to energize yourself and get your creative juices flowing? I’ve been completely uninspired lately. I’ll sit for long periods of time without knitting. This no knitting thing is kind of bizarre for me.

The many necks of Avery
Simply making everything proportionately larger did not work for upsizing Avery. Some changes and experimentation have been necessary.
The neck was a major challenge.

Ta Da!
One! Two! Three! Four! Five! Six!
Just released this week, two new patterns to celebrate the little children in your life.
Toddlers love counting and each is so proud of his age.
Busy
Can’t talk.
The crochet class at school is finished and the kids were really happy with their hacky sacs. They did a great job.
Madly knitting samples for the Victoria Knit-Out.
Twist Collective Summer 2009
I can finally tell you about my hush, hush project! The summer issue of Twist Collective went live yesterday and contains a feature with kids’ designs. My design, Dizzy is on page 16.
Final Round
This week marks the final round of edits to my hush, hush pattern. I’ve reviewed the pattern now that it’s been layed out on the page with photography, schematics and so forth all in place.
Life-time Supply
Do I have enough straight pins now? On a recent trip to Dressew I found this huge box of nickel plated brass dressmakers pins which won’t rust. The perfect tool for blocking.

Mystery Package
For days now, Fedex has been trying to deliver a package to me—but I wasn’t expecting anything. I received a letter from them asking for my phone number and my buzzer number. How very odd.
Colour Story
I’ve been busy sewing in ends on another new design—the one using the Regina yarn. I’m still loving the colours in which this yarn is available. I had a little set back when I found out that my favourite colour has been discontinued and I had planned a whole “colour story” based on that colour.
