Construction

The bottom-up, seamed construction ensures a great fit and structure, with the traditional high collar to keep you cozy on blustery days. Short rows are used to shape both the shoulders and the collar. The pocket divides into two separate pieces that are joined at the top.

Substitution Notes

Choose a worsted weight yarn. The original is a non-superwash that works up at 4.5 to 5 sts per inch (2.5 cm) on 4 to 5.5 mm (US 6-9) needles. Wools (including superwash), wool blends, and acrylics will substitute well.

Gauge

21 sts and 29 rows = 4″ (10 cm) in stockinette stitch, blocked.
