Yarn
Fingering weight or sock yarn;
240 (395, 585) yd / 220 (360, 535) m main colour;
200 (270, 335) yd / 185 (245, 305) m contrasting colour.
Sizes 57 and 69 ins / 145 and 175 cm use up almost all of the MC yardage. Knitters with a different gauge or other variables affecting yardage may require an extra skein of MC to complete the project.

Substitution Notes
This project is perfect for hand-dyed fingering weight and sock yarns. Commercially dyed yarns will also work. Choose a fibre blend that you enjoy knitting with and wearing and that will open up the lace sts when blocked.
Gauge
18 sts & 33 rows = 4 ins (10 cm) over St st, wet blocked using 3.75 mm (US 5) needles.
