Substitution Notes

Choose a fingering weight yarn (approx 7.5 sts/inch using 2.75mm / US 2 needles) to be worked at a larger gauge than noted on the ball band. SweetGeorgia Yarns no longer carries Merino Silk Fine but CashLuxe Fine, Flaxen Silk Fine, Mohair Silk Sock, and Tough Love Sock should all work. The secondary laceweight yarn may be substituted with another fingering weight yarn if the translucent effect isn’t desired.

Gauge

23 sts and 35 rows = 4″ (10 cm) over stockinette stitch using larger needles.

Needles + Notions

3.25 mm (US 3) and 3.75 mm (US 5) Needles;
3.25 mm (US 3) Circular Needle, 16″ (40 cm) long;
