Newborn Photo Shoot

It’s such an honour that Toby’s family chose to photograph their newborn with my Zig and Zag blanket design, knit especially for him by his Grandma, Lynn (capsize on Ravelry).

Short-Row Stripes Blanket

I love how short rows can create undulating lines when worked in stripes; it’s fun to design using short rows.

I have a blanket pattern in the spring issue of Knit Simple that makes great use out of short rows.

Months ago my cousin sent me pictures of her adorable daughter, Mara wearing the sweater that “Auntie Patti” knit for her. Of course, Auntie Patti is my Mum.

Now finished my grandson’s JoJo sweater and matching Tobie’s mittens. He is 10 and a half months old and lives in Jakarta Indonesia…where the temp all year round is about 30 celcius.

At a recent Guild meeting one of the members showed me her latest creation—a JoJo jacket.

She found the self-patterning yarn she used was a little lacking for her tastes so she threw in a reverse stocking stitch ridge every time the stripes changed colours.
