Have you ever taken a class with Lucy Neatby? If not, then you must! I’ve been known to travel to other cities and provinces to attend her workshops! Lucy now has three Craftsy classes, so she can come to you in the comfort of your own home.

Tempest Blog Tour
To celebrate the release of Tempest, join us as the book tours around to a wonderful line up of blogs. There will be lots of giveaways along the way. The blogs featured will be taking different approaches to their posts—there will be interviews, reviews, a look at tech editing, a discussion of sizes for ample knitters and knitted projects.

What a weekend!
Last weekend I traveled to Victoria and spent the whole time attending five Sally Melville workshops. It was such a great birthday present from my husband. I’m so pumped up with all the new information we covered.
My Little Ponies
Pearls, that is. I’ve been looking everywhere for a Canadian source for Pony Pearl dpns. I found them at the Beehive Wool Shop in Victoria when I participated in the yarn crawl at the Victoria Fibre Festival.
Goodies
May 2007
I finally managed to make my way to a new LYS the other day called Three Bags Full. What a warm friendly little store. Look at what I bought!
Partly Cloudy
The weather is perfect for some photography today – cloudy and bright with a soft even light. I’m taking photos of Shelridge Farm’s beautiful Soft Touch DK weight wool for my website.
I’ve recently discovered the Shelridge Farm line of beautiful wools.
Computer sock
I like to have a simple stocking stitch sock on the needles and I keep it beside my computer. When I’m reading blogs or email or waiting for pages to load I pick it up and knit a few more stitches.
