Shown in SweetGeorgia Yarns BFL Sock in Mulberry; 400 yd (365 m) per 4 oz (115 g) skein; 80% Superwash Bluefaced Leicester Wool, 20% Nylon; 3 (3, 4, 4, 4, 5, 5, 6, 6) skeins.
Substitution Notes
Choose a sock or fingering weight yarn. Original is a wool/nylon blend but 100% wool or other wool blends would work equally well. SweetGeorgia BFL Sock is no longer available but BFL + Silk Fine or Tough Love Sock would both be excellent substitutions.
Gauge
26 sts and 35 rows = 4″ (10 cm) in stockinette stitch using 3.25 mm (US 3) needle.
