Construction
The blanket is a modular project that’s worked in diagonal strips which are joined to the preceeding strip at they’re worked. The rows are short, generally 12 to 30 sts, depending on blanket size. While there are a lot of colour changes, Instructions are included for minimizing the number of ends to weave in. The blanket is worked in garter stitch throughout.

Substitution Notes
Choose a worsted weight yarn with easy care instructions. While a wool blend or superwash wool makes the colour changes easy and minimizes the number of ends to sew in (because of the spit splicing technique), an acrylic blanket will be easy to launder.
