Size Inclusive

Sizes to fit a 56” / 142 cm chest and above are available upon request at no additional cost to you. Please message me with your desired size. I’m happy to move this pattern to the top of my revision list and make this pattern accessible for you. A small handful of my patterns that were originally published by third party publishers haven’t yet been drafted in my full size range. Most of my patterns are size inclusive to fit at least a 60” / 152 cm chest.

Construction

This vest is worked in pieces from the bottom up, then sewn together after blocking. The Front armholes are worked to a longer depth than the Back for an English tailored shoulder. Stranded corrugated ribbing is worked at the hem, and around the armholes and neck opening.

Substitution Notes

Choose a sport weight yarn that gives the gauge results suggested in the pattern. A “sticky” wool or wool blend will behave the best in the stranded corrugated ribbing sections. Instead of choosing three contrasting colours, a gradient yarn could be used to create the colour changes for you.

Gauge

23 sts and 30 rows = 4” (10 cm) in stockinette stitch using larger needles, blocked.

Needles + Notions

3.5 mm (US 4) 24” (60 cm) or longer Circular Needles;
3.25 mm (US 3) 16 (40 cm) or 24” (60 cm) Circular Needle;
2 Locking Stitch Markers;
Yarn Needle.
