Sixth and Spring books and Cascade Yarns published another book in their series of 60 Quick books last month, called 60 Quick Luxury Knits. I have a design in it!

The Mock Cable Scarf creates the visual illusion that there is a cable running up its length. Instead it’s worked in a carefully planned juxtaposition of yarnovers, decreases and ribbing to produce the gracefully arcing lines.

It calls for Venezia Worsted, which is a wool silk blend that was lovely to work with. It felt soft and silk always accepts colour so well.
