Circumference: 10 ½ (12, 13 ½, 15, 16 ¼) (17 ¾, 19 ¼, 20 ¾, 22 ¼)” / 25 (30, 32.5, 37.5, 40) (42.5, 47.5, 50, 55) cm.
Depth: 6 ¼ (6 ½, 7 ½, 8 ¼, 8 ½) (8 ¾, 9 ½, 9 ¾, 10)” / 15 (15, 17.5, 20, 20) (20, 22.5, 22.5, 25) cm.
Intended to fit with 10-15% negative ease. Choose a finished size about 2-3″ / 5-7.5 cm smaller than head.

DK weight yarn;
Both hat and scarf: 665 (690, 775, 820, 855) yd / 610 (635, 710, 750, 780) m;
Just hat, including pompom: 195 (220, 255, 300, 335) yd / 180 (205, 235, 275, 305) m;
Just scarf, including fringe: 470 (520) yd / 430 (475) m.
Shown in Knit Picks Mighty Stitch (80% Acrylic, 20% Super- wash Wool; 208 yards/100g): 1 ball each White, Sky, Canary.
Substitution Notes
Look for a worsted weight yarn that feels good against the skin (for the brim, at least). This is a great stash busting project; mix and match colours and fibres for the contrasting colours.
Gauge
21.5 sts = 4″ (10 cm) over Mosaic Chart A or B in the round, blocked. Row gauge is not critical.
