Stitch into Spring
I’m teaching a gloves workshop at an upcoming Guild event on April 12th. If you’re in the Vancouver area and want a personal lesson on knitting the Guess Who?
Meet the Designer
I have been invited to be a guest speaker at the Fun Knits Spring Knitting Retreat in April. How exciting is that?! I’ll be talking about how I became a knitwear designer, designing children’s clothes and what inspires me.

What a weekend!
Last weekend I traveled to Victoria and spent the whole time attending five Sally Melville workshops. It was such a great birthday present from my husband. I’m so pumped up with all the new information we covered.
Happy Birthday to me!
Today is my birthday and my husband has given me a weekend with Sally Melville at the end of January! How perfect is that? I’m confirmed in all the workshops, even the one for which I was on the wait list.

My weekend with Annie
The Emerald Lake 2007 knitting retreat was just what I needed. A nice restful break from everyday life and lots of time to knit and chat. I made lots of new friends and saw some old friends too.
Owly
I teach a Strategies for Knitting with Self-Patterning Sock Yarns class. How’s that for a mouthful! One of the points I like to make is that your stitch pattern has to be really simple in order to do both the stitch pattern and the self-patterning yarn justice.
Felting Fizzle
I’ve tried felting in the past without much success. My first attempt was a Cat Bordhi moebius bag. I had some undyed Condon’s on hand (woolen mill from the Maritimes that’s long gone out of business).
