I had great intentions of blogging more regularly throughout the summer …

… and then we bought a house …

… and then I had to pack up all the yarn and our other “things” …

… to get our apartment staged and cleaned to sell …

… and then we went on vacation …

… and then we sold our apartment (while we were on vacation–how great is that!) …

… and then I taught a week’s worth of classes (the owners, staff and students at River City Yarns are fantastic) …

… and then I went to Sock Summit …

… and so it goes!

Workshops in Edmonton

Happy belated Canada Day! We had a nice relaxing family time that included a play in the park and grilled salmon for dinner.

From July 26 to August 2 River City Yarns in Edmonton is sponsoring a whole series of my workshops.

Catch Up

My silence is due to my busy schedule! I organized a weekend workshop for the Guild with Jean Wong. I love going to workshops, but organizing them is always more work than I anticipated!

This coming weekend I’m teaching four knitting workshops at BC’s Creative Expo at Canada Place in Vancouver. It’s being billed as a consumer education trade show and in addition to classes, seminars and stage shows, there will be a vendor’s mall with 45 exhibitors.

Nordic Knitting

I’m on Cloud Nine! I’ve been working long and hard to have Susanna Hansson come to Vancouver to give a workshop to our Guild. First we had challenges over the venue and we found a really affordable location at the Canadian School of Natural Nutrition.
