I’ve rewritten my Entrelac Mittens pattern in five sizes—enough for the whole family. The design is featured in Knit Noro: Accessories. After I found out that the publishers decided to offer it in just one size I wanted to test out my sizing theory.

Entrelac Workshop
If you’ve wanted to learn how to knit entrelac in-the-round, this is your chance.
If you’ve wanted to knit my Entrelac Mittens from Knit Noro: Accessories in a smaller or larger size than the one published, this is your chance.
Summer Workshops
I’ve been knitting my little fingers to the bone to get ready for a whole series of knitting workshops at River City Yarns in Edmonton starting next week.
When we moved 1 1/2 years ago, you may recall that all of my workshop samples went missing.
Teaching in Edmonton
I’ll be teaching knitting workshops at River City Yarns in Edmonton this summer at the end of July and beginning of August.
In order to offer their customers the right mix of classes, RCY has asked them for feedback.

Two-Handed Two-Colour Knitting
I’m slogging away on my Rockin’ Sock Club stranded socks. I say “slogging” only because I’m finding the knitting awkward and I really need to do something about my technique. My hands cramp up and I’m having a hard time tensioning the yarn with my left hand.
Pic-Knit 2010
I love having the opportunity to meet knitters face to face and I especially enjoy receiving feedback on my patterns in person. Next month I’ll have that opportunity because I’m participating in the Surrey Museum’s Pic-Knit event.
Intarsia Recap
Had a great workshop today with some of the Guild ladies. They asked some really great questions and I’m always so happy to share my knowledge.
I recreated several intarsia samples that were lost during our move last fall.
New Samples
I lost all my workshop samples during our move last Fall. I kept on hoping the bag of samples would turn up under a pile of boxes. No such luck.
So now I’m reknitting intarsia samples for my workshop this weekend with the West Coast Knitters’ Guild.
Local Workshops
I would like to invite you ‘locals’ to join me for a couple of workshops presented by the West Coast Knitters’ Guild. There will be other instructors and workshops throughout the weekend of May 1 and 2.

Out of Commission
I’ve done something to my rotator cuff and as a consequence, I can barely move my arm. It’s called ‘frozen shoulder’ which as a description doesn’t sound so bad. What the name doesn’t describe is the pain experienced when you forget and accidentally move the arm.
