Knit City Recap
What an exciting, exhiliarating, exhausting weekend! I’m still high on the fumes of fibre and the contagious excitement that was all around me.

I’ve rewritten my Entrelac Mittens pattern in five sizes—enough for the whole family. The design is featured in Knit Noro: Accessories. After I found out that the publishers decided to offer it in just one size I wanted to test out my sizing theory.

If you’ve wanted to learn how to knit entrelac in-the-round, this is your chance.
If you’ve wanted to knit my Entrelac Mittens from Knit Noro: Accessories in a smaller or larger size than the one published, this is your chance.
I love having the opportunity to meet knitters face to face and I especially enjoy receiving feedback on my patterns in person. Next month I’ll have that opportunity because I’m participating in the Surrey Museum’s Pic-Knit event.
This was the first time in three years I didn’t participate in the Knit-Out market as part of Victoria’s FibreFest celebrations. It’s always such a mad rush to squeeze everything into the car, hope for a spot on the ferry, live out of a hotel or on a friend’s couch and then hope for fair weather.
Time to get back into a routine. The Victoria FibreFest and Knit-Out always takes up so much time before the big event for me to get everything organized. The regular schedule goes out the window while I prepare.
Can’t talk.
The crochet class at school is finished and the kids were really happy with their hacky sacs. They did a great job.
Madly knitting samples for the Victoria Knit-Out.

I was so busy assembling kits, dealing with last minute details (like buying a second-hand tent) and knitting furiously before the Victoria Knit-Out that I didn’t have a chance to share with you the final specs on some of the samples I finished (and didn’t finish ;-)) for the weekend.
