Catch Up
My silence is due to my busy schedule! I organized a weekend workshop for the Guild with Jean Wong. I love going to workshops, but organizing them is always more work than I anticipated! It was a fabulous weekend with lots of new information that I can’t wait to start using with my finishing and pattern drafting. I’m already starting to plan another workshop with Sivia Harding.
I’ve also been busy finishing off some sweaters for an upcoming design. I plan for this design to be published in time for the Victoria Fibre Festival and Knit-Out the weekend of June 19th to 21st (yikes! that doesn’t give me much time!). I’m taking my tent again this year at the knit-out on the Sunday and I’m teaching two classes on the Saturday.
One of the final steps to self-publishing a design is the photo shoot. Our models are the twin brother and sister of a classmate of Hana’s and another of Hana’s friends and her little sister also helped us out. We had fun with our little models in the parks. The sweaters are One! Two! Three! above and Four! Five! Six! below.
