Amos’s Sweater

Every time Amos saw Uncle Henry wearing his sweater he bit it. There were always Amos holes in it that Aunt Hattie had to mend.

We stocked up on books from the library before the city strike – Amos’s Sweater is a current favourite.  It’s about a sheep who is not happy about his fleece being taken to knit a sweater for Uncle Henry.  It’s a great book for reading out loud and the award winning illustrations are fun too.
