Shh, don’t tell my chiropractor, but I’ve been sneaking in some knitting. My shoulder is much better than it was. I’m still a bit stiff, but I’ve been stiff for a couple of years now (it’s the knitting). My goal right now is to get the full range of movement out of my shoulder and to keep up with my exercises. I don’t want to be decommissioned again. Knitting is just too important!
Earlier this month, Evelyn sent me pictures of her finished Aidan. She bought the pattern from me at the Victoria Knit-Out earlier this year. Her son is 6 1/2 yrs old and Evelyn lengthened the pattern to accommodate his height. She wrote,
The pattern challenged my basic knitting skills however your clear instructions taught me new techniques and bolstered my knitting confidence!
That’s just what I like to hear! Thanks Evelyn for sharing. Your son is a beautiful boy and you’ve done a great job on the vest. I particularly like your changes to the back of the vest.
