Fog Bank Hat and Mittens

$12 CAD

Fog Bank is a simply shaped, super chunky hat and mittens set, embellished by gradient-style colour changes. The colours are worked in simple stripes, but a clever use of slipped stitches creates a fun zagging transition without the trouble of stranding.

Construction

Both hat and mittens are worked in the round from the bottom up. The mittens have a ribbed cuff and the thumb is worked after finishing the thumb gusset and before moving on to complete the rest of the hand. The hat features a Garter Stitch brim. The super bulky yarn, easy colourwork, and simple shaping make for a speedy knit that’s cozy and fun.

What's Included

This knitting pattern includes detailed written directions for both the hat and the mittens.

9 sts and 12 rounds = 4″ (10 cm) over St st in the round on larger needle, blocked.
