Arrow Gloves
$10 CAD
A distinct arrow pattern elevates these gloves from simple to stunning! Use a solid colour for a more subtle effect, or go for the wow factor with a hand painted yarn such as Stroll Hand Painted Sock Yarn.
It’s fun to see the round of stitches bend and point towards the finger as they pass through the chevron when using a variegated yarn. When using a solid colour, the arrow points towards the cuff.
You can knit gloves for the whole family with sizes ranging from children to XL adult.

Construction
Worked from cuff to finger tips with a wide side thumb gusset for a roomy fit and maximum manoeuvrability. The thumb is completed before working the rest of the hand and fingers. Decorative chevron pattern runs from cast on edge, through the ribbed cuff and all the way to the ring finger tip.

Substitution Notes
Choose a fingering weight or sock yarn with some wool content for warmth. Look for a striping or variegated colourway that will show the movement of the chevron pattern. Alternatively, a solid-coloured yarn with a tight twist will show the stitch definition and allow the stitch pattern to shine.
